‘I-Nature’ addressed the pressing environmental issue that is deforestation and it is aimed to raise people’s attention to an urgent call for conservation and protection of Malaysia’s natural heritage. This installation allows more than one participants to interact with it through the sound and motion capture device. It aimed at convey key conservation messages to lay public; educating and increasing awareness on the environment whilst suggesting different body whom they can channel their voice to i.e. local community, NGO, council members, and media. The carefully structured scenarios ask us to react playfully and to wonder if the forest should be left untouched. Each scenario requires participants to shout out and move their body assertively as if they are in a public demonstration. The lack of a mechanism of any kind to elevate the action to a pragmatic solution is not only the fall short of the work but also a parody of Malaysians’ ‘Not Care’ attitude.
